Glimpses From My Christmas Kitchen

Well, not everything was made on Christmas, but the whole week saw me baking for myself and others.

The common thread? Cocoa. Lots of it.

A last-minute chocolate and strawberry pudding- inspired by David Lebovitz’s clafoutis recipe.

Eggless chocolate cupcakes from Anushruti’s blog– this one is a winner!

And what’s Christmas without a touch of Nigella?I’ll admit I’m a convert now. Her orange and chocolate cake from How To Be A Domestic Goddess.

  2. How can you post this in the New Year when I’m trying to convince myself that choclate and cake and vbiscuits and all things yummy don’t exist! Haha! Looks like a very tasty Christmas in your house!

    • Oh, those New Year’s resolutions we make:P I was reading about Gretchen Rubin’s ‘abstainer’ vs ‘moderator’ debate and I’d rather be a moderate indulger- I can’t let go of my sugary delights!

    • Thanks so much for visiting my blog, M! I am flattered that you like this- I am looking at the pictures of your truffles and your date and walnut cake and oh-my-god are they gorgeous. I am going to be making your banana choc chunk squares real soon!!

Comments are yummy :)
