Another week flew by. The gist- here is what I’m:
Watching: Runaway Bride. (Just finished this afternoon, actually.) I know I am 13 years late. I don’t know why I bothered. The magic of the Pretty Woman duo did not repeat itself. I am over romantic comedies centred around people who have commitment issues!! (Also- the end credits had everything in a Newhart-type font. And the film was made in 1999!?)
Reading: Gunn’s Golden Rule’s by Tim Gunn. I loved him on Project Runway and on Oprah. I have only just begun; and have been reading about his years in school, getting bullied and teased, and the birth of his ‘”make it work” philosophy.
Listening to: Lazy Song by Bruno Mars. Love the song, love the video even more!
Wearing: Maybelline New Watershine Pure Natural Water Lip Color in Pretty Beige, this lovely, light peachy shade. I have suddenly taken to glamming up!
Coveting: These White Python Amber Heels from Tibi. Snakeskin + mint = sigh!
Have a wonderful weekend!

those heels are to-die-for! love the print
Hai na? Snakeskin adds a bit of a wild to the shoe.
I totally agree on Runaway Bride…the magic pairing just didn’t come through the second time around…
Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
But we shall still love Richard Gere 🙂 I am sure someone somewhere is doing a sociological analysis of the evolution of themes and writing styles in romantic comedies since the 1980s.
Oh, sweet Tim Gunn. How could you not love him? He’s definitely the best thing to happen to reality TV.
I know!! Between the real housewives and jersey shorers and drama queens, he is one- perhaps the only- sane voice.
Oh those shoes!!! Would make me like 7 feet tall, but still!!!! Julia Roberts was on GMA this morning… I agree– charming as ever even if Runaway Bride wasn’t her best attempt. Erin Brockovich will always save the day 🙂
Erin Brokovich is one of my all-time favourite movies. I actually liked her better in fiercer roles than romantic comedies.
love those sole mates!!
Runaway bride was fun way back then. today it may seem a little lame. Though Julia Roberts is charming as ever.
I wish I could buy all these shoes!!
